How to buy

Two products, and one question that decides between them.

You watch the software work before you commit, then move onto the platform or put the assistant inside the system you run.

  • You see the software before any subscription starts, in the demonstration and in the review of your ledgers.
  • The review is £3,500 plus VAT, fixed, and commits your firm to nothing else.
  • Both subscriptions are published in full below, with a calculator for your firm.
  • The platform is in build, so read every price as a launch price. See what is settled and what is not.

The route, step by step

i.

See it run, then a free hour on your own files

Open the working software on invented files at any hour. Then bring a sample of your own files and we spend an hour on them with you, with nothing in writing and nothing to sign. Free, and it commits your firm to nothing. How it runs

If you then want the findings on your own ledgers in writing, the client account review reads an export of your client ledgers, cash book and bank statements against the SRA Accounts Rules and hands you a written note of exceptions. It is £3,500 plus VAT, fixed, the note is yours to keep, and it is optional. Each exception comes with the entries and the rule behind it, and nothing is called a breach.

ii.

Deployment and configuration

Bracton is connected to your system and configured to your precedents, your house style and your matter types. The assistant, from £2,500 plus VAT. The platform deployment carries a migration and is quoted separately. How it runs

Bracton connects through the interface your system already provides.

Why the platform deployment is quoted

On the platform route the same configuration happens alongside a migration, scoped, priced and timetabled in writing before you commit. The two systems run side by side while the firm settles, and your old record stays readable throughout. The cost turns on how many years of matter data come with you and what your current provider will export.

iii.

The subscription, both products priced

All prices plus VAT. No token or usage charges on top, and the subscription includes the AI usage on fair use.

What your own firm would pay

The arithmetic, and the gap

A firm of twelve pays £2,220 a month for the platform and £1,380 for the assistant. A firm of fifty pays £9,250 and £5,750.

There is no discount for size on either product, and the assistant holds at 62.2 per cent of the platform whatever the firm's size.

The platform is the system, holding the matters, the documents, the diary and limitation engine, time recording, billing, both ledgers and the compliance record, with the assistant reading all of it every night.

Support and administrative staff are included at no charge. A fee earner is anyone holding live matters or recording chargeable time.

iv.

The term and how it ends

Both products run on an initial term of twenty four months and end on six months written notice, so a firm leaving at the first opportunity gives notice in month eighteen. Why two years, and your data

It renews for a year at a time after that, and notice from either side expires at the end of the current term.

The term does not hold your data

The matters, the documents, the correspondence and the ledgers belong to the firm, and they are exportable in a usable and documented format at any point during the agreement and for ninety days after it ends, at no charge.

Moving from the assistant to the platform starts a fresh term. The precedents, the house style, the matter types and the escalation triggers carry across.
