Bracton AI Assistant
Contracted to another system for another three years? Start anyway.
This is the same assistant that sits inside Bracton, sold on its own to run inside the case management system your firm already has. Nothing is migrated and nothing is replaced.

Illustrative. Three screens from the working software, on invented files. The platform, screen by screen.
What it does, where it stops
Case management agreements run three to five years, so a firm part way through one is the ordinary position. The contract governs the record, not what you connect to it.
Bracton connects through the interface your system already provides, the same route your accounts package takes, under permissions your firm sets. It reads what it is allowed to read and writes nothing back without a person approving it.
Once it is connected
Overnight it reads every live matter it can reach, and by morning each fee earner has the files that need attention with the next action drafted.
A limitation date approaching with no proceedings issued, a client who has gone quiet, an undertaking still open, a matter with no substantive activity for a month.
It drafts replies, chasers and client updates from your own precedents, writes up chargeable work that never reached a time entry, and flags fixed fee matters that have run past the scope you agreed.
Where it reaches less far
Working through another vendor's interface, the assistant sees what that interface exposes. Most systems open up matters, documents, correspondence, key dates and time, enough for the overnight sweep, the drafting and the time recovery. Some expose the ledger thinly or not at all, and there the accounts work is out of reach until you move.
Inside Bracton there is no interface in the way. The assistant reads and writes the same record as the rest of the platform, so it can block a save that would breach the accounts rules.
We tell you at the proposal stage what your system exposes and what it does not.
Nothing you buy is wasted
A firm that starts with the assistant and later moves to Bracton keeps everything it has built. The precedents, the house style, the matter types and the escalation triggers are the ones the platform uses, so settling in happens once.
What you pay for the assistant comes off the platform price in full if you move onto the platform within twelve months of starting.
Client material gains no second home
Every upload to a stand alone AI platform gives client material another address in another vendor's cloud. Bracton keeps no such copy, reading matter data where it already lives, so your case management system remains the single system of record.
The claim is about storage rather than processing
Where the assistant sends matter content to the model behind it, that provider processes it under a retention term that is zero or a short disclosed period, and it is named on the sub processor list you can read.
Your precedents and house style are configured for your firm alone and nothing is pooled across clients. Processing runs on United Kingdom infrastructure, client data is never used to train any model, and every action sits in an audit trail your firm can show a regulator.
The hosting and model terms are commitments Bracton Ltd contracts to before you sign. The security page sets out how each is enforced.
When the contract ends
The contract diary
When your contract ends, the move to the platform is a conversation worth having a quarter before the date.
Give us the date and we write to you once, shortly before it. One line in reply takes you off the list.
