The platform
The whole practice on one system, with the work already done.
Matters, documents, diary, time and money, with the assistant reading all of it every night.
Overnight, every file is read
The sweep runs every working day. Each fee earner opens the morning to the files that need attention, with the action drafted.
A limitation date approaching with no proceedings issued. A client gone quiet. An undertaking still open.
Every date carries its rule
The engine reads the file, finds the trigger, applies the rule and writes the date with its arithmetic on the entry.
The Civil Procedure Rules, the practice directions and the HMCTS forms sit underneath, checked weekly for a changed edition.
Client money, guarded
Every movement of money is one of nine named acts, answered from the ledger. There is no dropdown.
Client money will not go overdrawn. A receipt is not office money where nothing stands billed. A refusal names the rule.
Time, caught before it is lost
A call, a letter or a meeting is written up as the attendance note and the time entry in one act.
Chargeable work that never reached a time entry is found by the overnight read and written up for approval.
What sits behind the screens

Four more screens
The recovered time, the accounts rules, the court forms and the permissions sit on their own page. Moving a firm across is set out on the implementation page, and the systems it connects to on the integrations page.
